I founded RE:USE three years ago with the goal of giving high-quality pre-loved fashion from Sweden and Europe a new life. What began as a passion for sustainable style has grown into a mission: to empower women and create opportunities for independence.

Today, RE:USE is already supporting five women, helping them build skills and create pathways toward becoming self-sufficient or earning an additional income for their families. This work is at the heart of everything we do.

I have lived in Negombo for the past ten years together with my Swedish husband, and during this time my commitment to the thrifted lifestyle and women’s empowerment has only strengthened. RE:USE is built on the belief that fashion can be both responsible and transformative.

Our long-term vision is to open a physical secondhand store that doubles as a learning space—offering education in English, economics, and entrepreneurship, along with practical training. Every purchase you make helps us expand this work and bring our vision closer to reality.
